The Championships
The Tournament Department has taken over responsibility for the organizing of the official CC Championships. In the words of BW: "They should be the singular event that is the truest possible measure of player ability in each game type".
We plan to organize 4 different Championships, 1 each starting year. For the coming 4 years they will be: 2024: 1v1, 2025 poly, 2026 teams and 2027 assassin/terminator. Entry restrictions will apply, and/or, you can qualify through certain tournaments.
The Tournament Department will organize at least 1 qualifying tournament for each Championship Final. We will also designate several past, current and future tournaments as qualifiers, such as previous CC Championships and, for example, The CC World Cup tournament, organized by the TDs. They may include tournaments organized by members of the public CC community.
Apart from the above, we plan to offer at least one tournament per year that has a different concept, or format, such as conquer maps, escalating, trench, etc., etc. They will not necessarily be linked to the Championships.
