Welcome to the forum Plurple. This is where the League and Cup are shaped, any big changes always get put to the Players to vote on it in a poll though.

However, a change I do think would be good is changing it to the same settings as Super League, Flat Rate and Adj and the same BANNED Maps. I would deffo like to see that introduced for the 2nd Cup Tourney. Thoughts?

I like the difference that chained gives the cup over the league but can see why you would make the change for consistency.

Now I just need to get you to allow Krazy Kingdoms as my home map/get it out of beta

Hmm. I think I would agree. - Having different settings in the cup adds some fun in my perspective. I would so far as to suggest that the cup could be a bit lighter than the leagues and perhaps a bit experimental. - Possibly the settings in the cup should change from time to time

shaping up to be a fairly heavy toll this round if the current rate holds. - Last I checked (last night). 9 games had been finished and 4 of them were eliminations.

Well folks we now have more knocked out than those remaining.
So based on kill rate im predicting 11 - 12 rounds to get to 32. Assuming the higher skilled players left have a slightly slower 3-0 rate from now on as the top / bottom skill gap is less.

Yeah. That is more or less what I was expecting, but its looking like a heavy exit number still this round...? If I count correctly 21 games have finished and 9 have eliminations. Thats a survival rate of under 60 %. - Is it because a number of survival games are hiding in the unfinished stats and Im missing that or is it really looking like a lethal round?

Im forgetting to account for the fact that an elimination game has as a winner as well, though. And the winner of course survives. It may end up not much bloodier than normal

Most of the time Players will only receive 2 Invites at the same time given the Home and Away element.

There will always be some sort of over lap between the AWAY player accepting invites and the HOME player being invited.

Ouch. First round Im in trouble. - Absolutely no traction in the away and the random game. Mogul saves me and fairly safely with a first turn.

Still, we could be getting to a point in the tourney where we get rounds of low elimination? So far 1 in the first 4 games has an elimination and my game will see me 1-2 unless my opponent misses 3 turns in a row. Early days, but if that holds up only 6 players gets eliminated which would mean 91% survival rate.

I don't know, 4 Players Ranked below 1500 pre-Tournament are still mixing it! I would fancy one of them, if I hadn't purposefully got myself KO'd to concentrate on the League............

And regarding Round 8 and another potential BYE for you Carl...........

Anila8 is set for a KO and will remove you from the Top of the Table and take the LEADER BYE. With only 1 BYE and an EVEN number of players ADVANCING, you are set to take the field again!

Is not 100% Decided, but it looks like the last meaningful game of the Round. If uckuki turns the last around...............David is ELIMINATED and it leaves and ODD-NUMBER for the next Round and the ODD-MAN BYE would come in to play and that would go to you (AGAIN) Carl..............

All very interesting......Hoping to start the next Round on Tuesday! (depending on the game above).

My calculations seems to have been wrong!

Appears to be looking like a KO for Loose Canon so that would leave an ODD NUMBER of players competing in the next Round.

Only 3 games ongoing for round 10. Looks like 35 players left as only 1 of the games is still a possible elimination. - So could be 34.

Badabing fell to Tiddler this round but fought well. Tiddler only wants to look at the cup presently, cause his points tally in the Leagues is already clear, but despite a fairly strong finish its not going to be enough for any sort of glory. Its been a long struggling season there, so the cup must keep up the spirit for Tiddler
