You have to decide before playing.
If you pay, no matter if you get a double or not, you exit from jail.

If you don't pay, you play your dice, then if you have double, you can exit jail, but if you don't draw a double, you stay in jail.

Nope you can stay in jail forever lol but you give 1 cr away every turn so think about it.
Also being in jail don't prevent you for being attacked on your territories, because other teams can stand on your properties and get them if they win the game.

You arrive in JAIL if you played bad pair dice or if you've drawn a wrong ? card
You pay 1 Cr each round until you make a pair dice.
You can pay directly 5 Cr to exit, regardless the dice.

You payed 1cr last round and you tried to get a double, but failed, so you remained in Jail.
This round you have the same option :
A/ Pay 1cr and try a double
B/ pay 5cr directly and play your dice normally to exit JAIL.

Is it clearer?

Cheshire Cats are still in jail, until we see if we roll doubles, - is there any limit to the number of rounds a team will stay in jail? In Monopoly, it is 3 rounds.

Idk if there’s a little but there’s ~17% of rolling doubles. Or statistically 5.8 tries to roll doubles before getting them. So you need luck to get out before 5 rolls to save money.

Nope, no limit here into CQP like I said previously. You can stay in JAIL for 100 rounds until you show a double

I can 't say better than that!

That is what I though but I suggest a rule change on this for the future. Maybe five round limit, so after 5 rounds, one will have paid the 5 credits and be paroled!

I think the idea here is you choose: Pay 5 right away and get out, or Pay 1 and you might pay less, but you might pay more.
If you cap it at 5, theres no reason to wait unless you want to travel the board. Its supposed to be a risk / reward system.

I see your point, but the risk/reward is still there if it is capped at 5. You roll once and get doubles, you don't have to pay anything. Just my opinion, not sour grapes or anything.
