NFL Leagues (10/32)

Postby paulgamelb on Fri Oct 02, 2020 1:52 pm

Based on the NFL's structure of four team divisions, the winner of this tournament will have to win all eight divisions. How do you do that is a closed league format? Introduce promotion and relegation.

All teams will start off in their current AFC / NFC compass division and you will play home and away against the other three teams in your division. After every six games, the team at the top wins that division and is promoted into the next one up while the team on the bottom is relegated down a division. There is no top or bottom division, the divisions will be set up alphabetically with the team winning the AFC East promoting into the NFC West.

Pick your team and home map settings. In order to not slow the tournament down, large maps will not be allowed because we need every team's six games to finish before the next ones can be sent out. Try to pick a map and settings you can close out within 12 rounds. Teams are awarded three points for a win, any game that goes beyond round 12 will be declared a draw for tournament purposes with both teams getting one point, no points for a loss.
Going to allow 1v1 and polymorph games as your home map, it's your choice.

I would like to play. I did not see what team you have chosen, but here is my team and settings:

Green Bay Packers

Age of Realms 1: Might
Standard, Sequential, No Cards, Chained, Fog, No Trench

Go Pack Go

That being said, are you sure you want to allow poly games if you want this to close out quick? A poly 4 on an average sized map can take a long, long time, especially if players use 20+ hours per turn, that's a week long round 1.
Lakad Matataaag!
Normalin, normalin.

Supermax on Poly 4 is too big a map. You might be able to complete is within 12 rounds but how many weeks will one game take to complete?
