Sorry Art - the 500 games played is a must, regardless of your past account. It would be unfair to the other players in the tournament.

Need 5 more to start - if you have any friends or clan members looking to play on maps they've never tried before, let them know. Cross Map medals anyone???

After one last recruitment drive, I filled it to capacity, including 3 reserves (Robespierre__, cj1990, seechster).

=D> Thanks to you all for joining. Sorry to those who did not qualify. Many Lands V will come in the new year, with a different theme.

I will be requesting privileges shortly.

REMEMBER - PLEASE DO NOT JOIN GAMES WITH YOUR THREE MAPS!!! I'll be checking each round before creating the games. If you do, please tell me as soon as possible so we can make needed changes. Also, remember the rule in the first post about being kicked out if you don't have three maps to choose from.

Games will be sent via PM.

Groups are posted on the first page.

All games have been sent. One group will be delayed with only two games starting to wait for a freemium player to clear one spot.

Please join all three. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

morely...I will have to wait to pick my third round map now since I got a game with it already in. There is no sense putting a map up if I get one randomly between now and then...

Groups C, E, and I are into tie-breakers, with the winner moving on to the next round. They will join first round winners keiths31, morleyjoe, Foreverman, and Commander9 in the second round. Group B and H still on-going.

Indeed a tie-breaker is needed for Group H - game invites have been sent. Round 2 will be set up once game is done.

The final first round Game 8259519 is still going - into round 14 (35 set is next) and still no real runaway leader. 2nd round will start within a couple days of that game finishing.

The Group H tie-breaker has become deadlocked. For the first time in 4 Many Lands tournaments, I'm forced to call that game a draw, and send a new tie-breaker.

I thank everyone for their patience. A new game is going to be sent to Chuuuuck, nibotha, and VioIet.

I will watch it closely to see how it progresses. The second round will start when it is done. I will also review games picked for the next round for those advancing to assure the intent of the tournament remains intact.

Cheers!

nibotha wins! nibotha wins!

Okay, so nibotha only won the tie-breaker in round 1, but it was an epic battle getting there.

New games will be sent for second round early next week. I will need to review the maps people have chosen for the next round. If you already are aware that you've played the map you are listed with, you'll need to replace it ASAP. I'll be in touch with the second round players soon.
