I dont see why we needed this vote count...only like three people voted. and i guess its cause pmc is anxious to see if he has his vote back..well i cant confirm that so this is probably useless.

Ya the whole point is to see whether I can vote..

i literally realized that as soon as i was posting it...

Where the hell is Leehar? There are probably other people who haven't posted in a while too, far too many people are scumarining.

Gimli and djfireside haven't been all that active either. We have lost quite a few VTs, we should be ripe to get replacements going.

Also, ragian and saf each only have a single post today.

Correct everywhere.
That sentence made no sense unless he knew, or strongly suspected, there was a vote stealer. If he suspected it, why did he suspect it before anyone else?
If he knew, then he is either the vote stealer, or in the mafia with one.
Also, he had a big defense prepared yesterday, but overnight conveniently forgot it. Why would he forget his defense unless his scum buddies told him that it wouldn't work?

He already admitted that he was suspecting a vote stealer. So, the question now is: on what possible grounds could a single missed vote cause someone to immediately suspect a vote stealer? As I have already posted, it is a very obscure role and probably the last thing I would think.

To say that he forgot his defense causes a further hole. We are to believe that new guy takes super accurate vote counts, but no notes of what he was going to defend himself with? Or what caused him to suspect a vote stealer?

I think now that there was no big post at the end of yesterday, it was just a stall tactic.
Alright.

I think that it's like a flickering light in the corner of your eye. It certainly could be evidence of new guy being able to anticipate the existence of a vote stealer, but it could also be nothing. new guy is certainly aware of the role, he's been in games with them. (Hectic Eclectic comes to mind.) By itself, this piece of evidence is inconclusive.

However, you have more of a point on the defense. It seems unlikely that new guy would have a post ready for the end of Day 2 and then forget what was in it, even without writing it down or saving it, and come out on Day 3 saying he has nothing to add.

i am here and have been following i really have nothing to present as i have gotten any vibes on anything as far as new guys case i think there is not much to nothing there i am waiting to see if that delevolep's and i have been very busy at least this game has slowed down a lot.

the biggest thing i can see is new guy forgetting what he was going to post at the end at day 2 stated right this post.

and i also waiting to see if PMC got his vote back or not
i love we finally got AA otherwise known now as trench YES!!!!!

I had five pages to go through. My internet went all haywire Wednesday and I got i back Friday evening GMT+1. I apologise for my absence, but quickly throw the blame elsewhere :)

Rodion wrote:I still don't think the vig killed Dazza, but that would force me to believe we have a JOAT that opened the game with a kill instead of an investigation (bad JOAT play). Add to that the fact that Ragian is the only JOAT who could have fired at Dazza and he played in Power Role Draft Mafia, where it was sort of established that town JOATs should not kill before investigating.
And why would mafia kill DJ of all people?

Am I the only JOAT to have been able to fire at dazza because I suspected him? Well, I didn't and I'm not. I don't even think it was a JOAT (if that's what you're saying), I think it is the SK who's just using different MOs each day (someone pointed to that too).

pmchugh wrote:
Ragian wrote:@PMC, why did it make sense for jak to protect saf in your opinion?

He would be a safe target for the mafia (being a slightly suspicious claimed VT) and he is also experienced.

Thanks for teaching me that

------------------------------------------

Rodion on Doom:

I don't think Doom is being too scummy and I sort of understand his vote (though I prolly wouldn't vote for a claimed doc) because jak was so adamant about not unhanding his night actions.

Doom on new guy1:

This case makes more sense to me. As others have said (sorry that I'm not too original), the problem is not so much his vote stealer thoughts, but more that he "promised" something (even if it was just five lines) for this day and then comes on, saying he has nothing to add. Good catch, SG7 =D>

I tried pinning something on him yesterday, which is why Doom is annoyed that he's on new guy's case all alone. I think new guy is the most scummy so far, which earns him vote new guy.

Scumariners

Leehar is gone completely, it seems.
Clever, in my eyes, doesn't seem to add anything. He just pops up.
SG7, I thought that was the same, but then he caught the new guy thing, so having him on this "list" is perhaps a tad unfair.

im here trying to add something to add. but cant really find anything. i dont agree with this new guy case i feel like doom is trying to pull it out of nowhere. your doing it on the speculation that he assumed there is one. i mean in every game i am in i think of all possibilities and that just seems to be what new guy is doing. if im wrong then correct me but it seems this is coming from nowhere.

Hey guys, sorry for my innactivity, drove to NO. Im going to let adam on to do the VC (Finally), but before I do I just want to say I checked all my files and cant find a single one related to mafia. So Im sorry but I dont have the origional post. I already posted what it could have been but I am not really sure what it was about as I dont remember the circumstances of the post. Also for those of you who obviously read over it quickly, I had something to post and apparently didnt save it (so Im assuming it wasnt of much importances) and I got fastposted by the mod, so thats why I didnt just post it. As far as Im concerned I cant really defend the accusations as the things you are bringing up are unjustifyable, and just as hard to put down, so I guess I dont really have much of a defense at this point. I answered everything I could, so yeah..

Official Simplified Vote Count

With 12 alive, it takes 7 to lynch

Clever - PMC
New guy1 - DoomYoshi, Ragian
DoomYoshi - Rodion

Due to the extremely long period of inactivity on my part (due to computer malfunctions and being with friends) I realize this game has been stalled. I will send out a mass prod HOPEFULLY tonight, but if I cant then I will do my best to get to it ASAP. The dealine, for the above reason, will be till 6/12/12, 10 days and 2 hours from now to allow players to make up for lost time.

I am very sorry about all of that, and hope that you all can understand why I couldnt give a vote count (and that is because my computer crashes every 5 minutes).

Same, but if I do it will be staying here for a while.

Vote New Guy

Until a claim is brought forth or someone slips up some more he seems to me the scummiest. You don't just have a defense ready to go and say you have it and then COMPLETELY forget it when the pressure is off the next day. I think it's time for your memory to start to click and I'll help it with added pressure.

I didnt say it was a defense, I said it might have been. TBH I might have been drunk that night because I remember posting it and having to think hard about it, but you know if Im gonna get pressured because of posting something that might have cleared me, at least I didnt get mod killed :).

Town won't kill someone they don't suspect, at least not N1. If I recall correctly, Dazza only got 1 "top 3" nomination, yours. You are the only player who can take credit for Dazza's kill while still looking town. Anyone else should be considered a SK (or at least come up with a good busdriving story or something similar).

Ragian wrote:Well, I didn't and I'm not. I don't even think it was a JOAT (if that's what you're saying), I think it is the SK who's just using different MOs each day (someone pointed to that too).

I don't think I've ever seen a SK that can change his kill flavour (which could mislead town). Maybe this is happening here, but no idea.

Also, the way Yoshi handled New Guy's case is still scummy (seeing someone ask a question that could have simply been explained as "trying to cover all the bases" and transforming it into a request for vigging NG). After rereading, NG's promise of a post could easily be perceived as an attempt to survive, which is not scummy, especially considering his multiple softclaims. If 2 hours and 10 minutes before a deadline someone pulled the "vig, kill Rodion" crap and I was not online at the time to make a well thought post, I'd most assuredly conjure whatever BS I could in order to dissuade people from killing me ("hey guys, big post written that proves I'm town, gonna publish it tomorrow"), truth or lie. Considering the circumstances in which Yoshi placed him in the end of D2, I'm not willing to take the "NG did not keep his promise" stance in order to justify a NG vote.

To be honest I don't see much merrit in the new guy case but something is off about Rodions last post, he seems to be saying that new guy lied and that he is OK with this. What happened to LAL?

I'm willing to. Only because it was something I would do before I came to here. When I was on Whirled or any other type of Mafia game and I was near a lynch. I'd stall myself time if I was a mafia to say that I'll bring something up the next day.

Due to past experience, either New Guy is trying to pull that trick as a town OR mafia. Town if he's new to the trick probably. But mafia if he isn't. Town would most likely at least give something the next day, but as mafia if the pressure is completely off of him, why bother and probably bring the pressure back? Right? Right.

I agree Leehar needs to show up, but I think Saf should give him a prod before he receives my vote. It seems like he just forgot he was in this mafia, but we'll see.

The thing is I actually did have something but because of me not putting it in the right place of sorts (Im thinking I must have thought I would remember it at a later period of time??) I can not conjure it. I have never used the ruse that jak is speaking of, so I cant say I have any experience using this as a method to get out of a lynch... Yeah, its 9:17 in NO and I usually dont wake up till around 11, so thats about all I can think of at this time...
