Lost track of the votes. Mostlly in agreement with the others about his role being weak. Last I can remember seeing a lightning rod was Haggis' SK mafia. Worked differently. Jonty's role almost seems more like a magnet.

I had to check up that role myself, since I actually never heard of it before....It does work like a magnet though, if you take the wiki as it says.

However, it makes the game a bit..non-serious for it be to included here. I doubt Edoc would place such a role here.

Yeah, but I am terrible with deadlines Anyhow, there was a reason the deadline was this evening no where close to enough time before work this morning. Hopefully none of you were holding your breath.

Loki hid behind a clever mask as he walked the halls of the Aesir. He watched as the mead flowed, as and the Aesir mingled with the Vanir and as the Valkyries spoke with the Einherjar. Words were spoken, arrangements were made, packs were sealed. Loki told naught but lies and none knew him in his clever concealment.

The same could not be said for one of his sons however. Jormungandr, the world serpent, slithered through the assembled gods as he spread lies and poisoned the minds of those who bend their ear to listen. The day belonged to the sons of Odin however. Thor knew his foe and his fate and the clever lies of a serpent could fool him once, but not twice. With a mighty cry and a toss of his hammer Thor banished Jormungandr from the halls of his father. Thor knew his fate in Ragnarok. The serpent was unlikely to have been slain by the blow, but it would be a long time before the gods would be bothered by him again, a very long time.

Any more night posting out of you and I will mod kill you. Clever, your question was a fairly honest one, but still, don't discus. Game is obviously still going. It was a custom role, so I had to make a name. All roles will be explained in the endgame as always.

I am at work, so this one is a quickie.

Odin and Thor walked into a dimly light room in the night. The dim lights cut out and Odin screamed. Disoriented Thor let fly with his hammer at his father's attacker and heard it connect.

Slowly the lights began to glow again. Odin lay in a cooling pool of blood. His throat was torn out by a massive jaw from some beast, but the fatal blow was certainly by his son's hammer. The mighty hammer had been thrown clear through him with the head embedded in the far wall. Only the haft remained in Odin, supporting him against the wall.

Funeral dirges greeted the dawn as all the assembled gods mourned the death of their fallen leader.

Okay I am having a bit of trouble deciphering this one. It looks as though Thor attacked someone and was busdriven due to the disorintation?!? But a beast also attacked strike as well?!? It looks as though two people went after Odin. I guess we need some explaining on this one.

Vodean since you are Masoned to Thor maybe you could shed some light on what the hell just happened without having to out Thor in the mix and keep them secluded.

That's odd, I would have thought that if Thor was busdriven, the scene flavor would be different.

i think either mafia and thor targted the same person and were both busdriven, or thor was actually either roleblocked or something like that. The beast seemed to know what it was doing. I can confirm that thor did not target Odin.

I think the scene flavor might fit with being busdriven, but might not.

You're right. There would have to have been two busdrives. I'll have to think a bit more...

I dont think there were necessarily two busdrives as mafia could have hit into strike and the busdrive could have turned thor's attack into strike which is more than likely noting Thor is a Vig/SK. I can only assume whoever was being targetted got busdriven so may be a point to check who it was as if mafia held the bussing may have switched their own to protect them trying to stop any protection of Odin.

So you're saying that Thor targeted the killer but was busdriven into hitting Odin? That's a possibility.
