Hello Ice, yep they're both working on it, But no worries as we gonna start this tournament in 2018, not before. I have a few question to ask you and all teams about credits and other stuffs before we start. You know about it.

Howdy all, DJ approached me and asked if I would team up with ultrafit. I am willing to join if needed, although it appears there are several others also willing. I could be an alternate if needed for another team, if not then carry on. Cheers

About pawns : vote is still open about pawns but it seems we gonna go with normal colored pawn.
About rules : you can double check the rules into the thread but don't worry! If you have already played Monopoly in your life, everything will be fine! And I promess everything will be cristal clear for all after a few rounds. If you have any question left, ask on thread.
But I have 2 things I'd like we discuss before we start playing:

That HAS TO BE DISCUSSED. We start with 10 teams and with the actual system of credits, I foresse that quickly 4 or 5 teams will be out. And around 5 or 6 will remain longer. So IT'S UP TO YOU. How long to you want to play this virtual map? Do we all start with more credits? Let me know before we start or we'll go with the actual system. It means that we all start with 10 credits only. I can double up this ammount as a start (no more or game will be not balanced enough)
What's needed before we start ? : Team are already randomized and dices have been drawn too. You can see playing order and colors into the thread. xroads will be the non-playing TD and he gonna send all teams their secret objectives by PM in the next days (once random made by himself). Keep it secret, and try to complete it to call the win! xroads will also draw all "?" cards and he'll keep it secret for all (including me!). In the meantime I'm working on our first virtual board with all our team names.
Please answer the few question about credits and rules before we're able to start.

The next pm will be sent to all when we start. At this point, the first post into CONQUEROPOLY THREAD will be edited into a new one, including our board, the log and all infos needed about the running CONQUEROPOLY!
I think, and because this is a "test" tournament using virtual map Conqueropoly, the goal would be to have the participant getting a good taste of it, therefore staying longer than few turn to be a plus, not really good if after 3-4 round half of the team to be eliminated and without getting a good grasp from this kind of tournament, so I'm in favor to make the game lasting a bit longer to avoid too much team being eliminated too early.
As far surrending property back to get money during struggle time maybe an option, again the goal is to stay as long as possible and also this could give a way for a team to perhaps make a "possible comeback" and get a chance to become wealthy again?
As far the pawn style I don't really care...I'm more about the gameplay
I’m fine with not being able to sell or trade properties in order to make payments. It will shorten the game for sure. But I do think opening credits should be increased. Initially I had thought ~25 credit but double (20) is close enough
Otherwise if you want to keep credit low, allow for some negotiations / trades or selling in order to make payments

Hello all, I've read all your comment, I wait a bit more while xroads is still drawing the objectives. Maybe some more teams will answer too.
As far as I see, we gonna increase the starting credits, mad is right! :

TRADING CARDS : remember you can already make a trade proposal to any team every time you reach any services (during the game) About being able to make a trade because you don't have enough credits will last the game longer, of course. But I think at this point, it's just giving 2 or 3 more round to a team for nothing... They will just running around the board, and they'll die slowly.... Remember we start with 10 teams, and the final run (after many rounds) will be with a few teams only. So I think we gonna stay like this. Also, when I see the comments, it seems that most of them thinks the same (comments).
ABOUT GROUPS OF PROPERTIES Also remember that the groups of properties can be locked when held.
FULL COLOR BONUSES Once you hold the 3 properties with same color, the full-color is 'LOCKED' and changed to a red hotel instead a green house. You cannot be attacked anymore (unless you die) and every team who stop on any of the 3 property give you 5 Cr. It also gives you an extra 'moving' bonus (and more possibilities for the next moves).
So if we have some groups already held and locked, while we still have 10 teams left in the game, there are a few options!
I think we gonna say that the group will be locked only when held for 2 full rounds (instead right after you took the full color with all three territs). It gives all team the opporunity to counter attack on this group of color and make sure it doesn't lock! It goes with the increase of starting credits for all! More teams will remain longer. It's not good to lock too easily the group of properties. But, if you try to attack and lose the game, then you'll still pay 5 cr (instead 1cr or 3cr, when the group is partially owned), because the team hold the full color. The team can use the full color bonus only when the groups is hold.
1/ Announcement tell you if something important happened into the game. 2/ The team order (colored almost like CC = same color for log and pawns). 3/ The game log with the pending question to answer on thread only please (top of the map so you should be able to see what was played before your turn while looking at the map). 4/The googlesheet link will tell you all games played but also the ongoing games. (Remember I can set the game on PAUSE when required to let games to end if there are possible issues regarding the game results). A battle icon will be set on the board as a reminder. Don't worry! 5/The board will be updated after every move (yes it will be a huge work for me! )
From now : I keep playing the game log for all. Everytime a decision has to be taken by any team, a WALL MESSAGE will be sent to the captain with "CQP : ........". (CQP is for ConQueroPoly of course ) Once your decision's taken, please post INTO THE THREAD, not on my Wall! What you're looking to do.
