I just now found the Fractured America map, which looks like an extremely epicly-amazingly looking map. So I've decided to run a very basic and simple tournament as a chance for those who have never played this map (like me), and for those who have mastered this map, as an opportunity to attain a medal. But beware of the strength of the underdogs. You never know who will emerge from the turmoil and tumult of fractured America. Basically, you'll have lots of chances to advance, as play moves from 8 player games, 7 player games, 6 player games, and to 5 player games (so you have 4 chances to win a game and advance).
The Official Rules of Competition *The tournament host has the right to change rules prior to or during the tournament and make any decisions to make the tournament more enjoyable.
*Random.org will be used when randomness is needed.
Thank you for reading, I hope you join! If you have any questions, let me know.
As organizer, I send many private messages to inform you about the rules, progress of the tournament, and your position in the tournament. It would be greatly appreciated if you could allow private messages to be accepted (this setting can be changed in the Control Panel under the Personal Menu area at the left) and read them please
I will be thoroughly committed as I am with all tournaments. WorldCup4James

...I prefer a man who will burn the flag and then wrap himself in the Constitution to a man who will burn the Constitution and then wrap himself in the flag.
Decided to just have a reserve replace a player in any case where there is a no-show. I figure that it will take too long to have a play-in game for previously-eliminated players. So, the rules now state:
If a player fails to join a game within 72 hours, that player will be replaced by a reserve.
