Re: HOLYWARS 1250
I like the look of this map although I think the Islamic Caliphates bonus would be too difficult to acquire as its so large and spread out.

Re: dice sucks
Dice are random. The reason so many players think they're rigged is down to how your brain works. Ie you tend to notice when you've had a bad beat and it sticks in the memory, however all the times you have average or good luck with the dice you don't notice and quickly forget about it.

Re: after Firefox 31 update, tools not working
I would suggest that everyone moves onto panel view and persevere with it. It's riddled with bugs at the moment but if we all start using it and logging the bugs then eventually they'll all get fixed. Panel view will be the much better option once it works.

Re: what type of game minimize the dice
What I like about this post is it brings risk/reward into the calculations. Do you calculate the risk before an attack, how many troops you are willing to risk losing to take that tert considering the potential reward (breaking or taking a bonus, getting a spoils) or do you just hit auto-assault ...

Re: what type of game minimize the dice
The dice are completely random. What's just happened before has no effect on what happens next. It's difficult to believe this sometimes as our brains are programmed to learn by experience. ie if you've been having a load of shitty rolls all day then you start to expect that you're going to get more ...

Re: Caffeine Rush 2! (Triples with a Twist) [FULL]
Three trips games seems like a new series in it's own right. As a tiebreaker could it be a single trips?
I suppose that will be better, but one triples game could be unfair. Oh well, one it is.
If it does end up 6-6 is overall games won taken into account or does it just go straight to a tie ...

Slight bug with the latest version of assault odds. When changing the Display options tab, hiding pathfinder and statistics which I don't use, it doesn't remember the settings. refresh the page and they just re-appear again. This is on firefox.

I'm sure it's not fixed. It just feels like that sometimes if you have a run of bad luck. The thing is that you only tend to notice when you have bad luck. Good luck is often forgotten about immediately.

how to install scripts from tools.conquerclub.com
Noticed that most of the scripts have been moved to tools.conquerclub.com since the demise of userscript.org. When following the link to the script and then click "Get Latest Version" it shows the script but doesn't give the option to install. Only way I can find is to copy-paste the whole thing ...

Lol these games are fixed computer decides who is winning and who loses at start of gm this is proof of it .
Chances of this happening are about 400-1 meaning it is expected to happen on average once every 400 times. I've played several hundred polymorph games and it's only happened once so it's ...

Re: script to show starting positions.
Yeah, I noticed that Sherkaner isn't active any more.
Shall I volunteer to take over custody of "the official version"?
Otherwise if anyone else decides to change it then we're gonna get into problems with version control and multiple different versions of the same script.

New BOB with option to view starting neutral positions.
If you start a fog game on an unfamiliar map then gives you an extra button "View Start Positions" so you can see where all the neutrals are.
Click "Revert to Live" to get back to the game.

Works on Firefox.

Re: script to show starting positions.
Thanks.
Changing the name wouldn't really help as there would still be 2 slightly different versions of the same script. If this is going to be made available then it needs to be incorporated into the official version of BOB.

Made the changes and posted on greasy fork.
At the top of the map, there's a new button "Show Start Map"
Then just click "Revert to Live" to go back to the game.

Latest version of BOB.
Where can I get the latest version of the BOB script? userscript.org seems to have broken. Tried the alternative link http://userscripts.org:8080/scripts/sea ... ub&submit= but the install option doesn't work on that one. The source code tab doesn't contain the whole file either so can't just copy and paste it.

I've had a look at this and it's fairly straight forward as most of the code needed is already there in BOB snapshots. Is it possible for me to submit changes to BOB? If not who do I need to get in touch with?

That's not what I was thinking of. Sorry I didn't explain it very well.
Take maps like Feudal war, Das Schloss, Poker club. At the start of the game there's a lot of neutral territories. If it's a fog game then all you see is a load of "??". I want to be able to see where all the neutrals are. The ...

It would be very useful to be able to view the starting positions for a map in fog games if it's an unfamiliar map. Is there a tool that will do this yet?
