Download tabulated game data
Does anyone know if there is anyway to download or otherwise access tabulated game history data as a CSV or TXT file. Ideally it would have information on the map, game settings, players, and who won.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Dice Analysis (using a z-test)
OK, the spreadsheet is updated. I added the chi-squared test at the bottom left. The numbers differ slightly from my last post as I added in my rolls from the last few hours. Z-score of -2.82. Chi-squared of 15.02, with df=5. In my opinion, these dice are crap.

Re: Dice Analysis (using a z-test)
So I've added a few more dice rolls to the mix, the quite the opposite of "evening out" is happening. My new calculated z-score is -2.79 which corresponds to a probability of .0026. I also did a chi-squared test of the distribution of my dice rolls. Basically it compares my distribution of 1's ...

Re: Dice Analysis (using a z-test)
Thanks for everybody's comments. i will certainly be updating the numbers as I get more rolls in. A few thoughts though: I had initially considered the low numbers of 2v1, 1v1, etc. throwing off the calculations, but I convinced myself (albeit intuitively) that my sample is all dice rolls, and that ...

Re: Dice Analysis (using a z-test)
I'm not sure your using the term power correctly. The power of a test is a proportion that tells us how likely we are to reject the null hypothesis ASSUMING that the alternative hypothesis is correct. It is not really used in this situation. The 2893 is the sample size; that the dice aren't acting ...

Re: Dice Analysis (using a z-test)
I'm not sure that determining the power of this test is useful or even possible. Technically the power would be 1 as the the null hypothesis is rejected (at the .05 significance level)! My calculations are on an excel spreadsheet, but I'm not sure how to upload it here so that people can see it ...

Dice Analysis (using a z-test)
Like everyone else around here I have been getting mighty pissed off at these dice. I decided to run a statistical analysis on my my dice rolls. I performed a z-score significance test, which is what is often used in scientific studies. I used the dice analyzer tool to keep track of my dice rolls ...
