Well Banana Stomper, I'm in favor of your proposal (and also know nothing about WoW). Why not have rankings done by percentage of active users? Like 5 Generals, 2% Colonels (right now 40), next 3% Major... etc. And just make the game cut off for every rank something like 15 to 30 games. Why should ...

Yeah, things would swing so wildly between teams turns that i don't think it would be terribly fun or strategic... then again I'm not that big of team games in any capacity. Again, no matter how you dice it, the math just doesn't work. You need to be able to take 15+ minutes for long turns and you need to be able to sleep and work and have a game last less than 8 hours. Sure you can say "don't play games you can't finish" but with 24 hours to take a turn there's still ...

Yeah, I'm going to continue advocating for a point penalty for people who deadbeat to be distributed to everyone else playing who does not deadbeat... I'd say 3 points per opponent. Sure it doesn't take any skill to beat a deadbeat, but like all things (say the roll of the dice) shouldn't it average ...
