I got to brigadier just playing speed games, but only games with 4 to 6 players and flat rate.
That takes luck mostly out of the equation, except in the form of weak players/suiciders.
1v1 are coin flips and anyway not interesting per se, they take out the "uncooperative game theory" aspect that ...

I played him as funkeymonkeyman a few days back in speed, and he made use of his "underdog status" to turn people against me. Annoying.
But hey, it's not like we were playing for money here.

I'm still pretty new to the site (300+ games) and only play speed games, I do not have the patience for the 24h ones.
Over the last two weeks, there has been almost no action in speed games, the players seem to have disappeared. Any idea why ?

There are many "Notre Dame" churches, i.e. all dedicated to the Virgin Mary
The cathedrals of Paris and, yes, of Luxembourg are two examples. In Luxembourg, there is also an annual pilgrimage to the statue of the Virgin Mary in the church.
