Good point. This system seems to provide less of an incentive for good behavior. Under the feedback system most players liked to avoid negatives, but if it's all just stars they'll even out ...

I started a suggestion thread with a poll in the Suggestion and Bugs forum. I am not sure it will change anything, but I think coming up with positive suggestions is more helpful than just complaining.

After living with the new rating system for a bit it seems even more useless than first imagined. Among the many problems is a rather significant one, i.e. that we are taking all of the ratings and jamming them together, leaving us with numbers that mean nothing.

Well I liked it well enough but there are so many things wrong with the new rating system that I think the best course is to scrape it off our shoes and start again.

What I think is just hilarious is the mods thinking that some of the idiots on this site would rate objectively because they are using stars instead of feedback. We're seeing people getting 1 star ratings for attendance even if they didn't miss a turn, when the rater is just mad because they lost. I ...

Definitely looks suspicious, freestyle game where those two never play during the same time, but one is always right after the other by 1 or 2 minutes.

you're pretty much right, however not everyone leaves ratings for everyone. so you would get less ratings to average out that quickly, and people tend to leave bad feedback (for deadbeaters) or positive feedback (for really outstanding) players, faster then just plain normal ones. i mean you ...

Seems to me the problem is that the transition was not well handled. We have moved from a binary system (positive or negative, since neutrals didn't show) to an arbitrary scale with no real guidance. (I know guidance has been added now, but really the cow is out of the barn already).
