Re: England Map [Quenched]
Hey thanks for your replies.
Of course it's your map and my whine about the xenowonk doesn't justify the jerusalem removal. Yes indeedy - UKIP is a wonderful progressive party that represents the educated and considered views of the wider UK and I am really pleased that it is given such a large ...

Xenowonk booo
Hey
I was looking at this map with an aim to play it. It looks great. I love the road sign metaphor.
But not sure about using 'Jerusalem'. Whilst it is quite funny once one realises what pseudo-religious jingoistic empire establishing clap-trap it is, I am not sure that many yet see its (dark ...

Re: BetaMarch 2014 (Official Monthly Challenge)
Thanks for your reply. Not at all embarrassing.
To add to the shame, I am going to argue the toss. not because I want to whine that I deserve a medal, but because i want you to see my point of view..
I reckon that the rules were ambiguous. I took another meaning from the words:
'A maximum of 10 ...

Hehe. I *did* wonder about the effort of finding everyones scores and collating them, I just figured that you had some neat super collating script figured out. ; )
Thank you for setting up this challenge, it got me to experiment with the Beta Maps. I had a lot of fun.

I really enjoyed playing this map, thank you. I think it is a great way to start playing Poly, since it is small.
Nothing I dislike about the map, but since the challenge requires something: i don't like the colours much, the greens remind me of the colours in a paint pallete ...

I loved the design, this is one of the most beautiful maps I have played.
There was very little to dislike! The one way attack was the only slight annoyance. I need to play it a lot more before I can tell if it is unfair.

I liked the boats, although I lost all of mine, I liked that they could be attacked.
I disliked how fiddly and unclear the territories were in the SE, got me a couple of times.

I loved the loop.
I disliked trying to figure out how the territories were linked together. How do you get 'into' another car?

I loved this map, thank you. I love the scale of it, Paris seems a long way away from the south coast!
I didn't like so much how the Paris victory hasn't come up yet in any of the games I have played.

Ahh, now I fully understand that text. So it is to do with looking very carefully for the wee boxes - the villages! ahem. Thanks Gilligan.
I was able to reinforce from the yellow squared location with 10 units to the territory with the cursor. My apologies for not describing it.

I seem to have found some weirdness. It looks like Krithia is linked to madios and to Sedd el Barr. Am I right?

I am posting for the beta March challenge.
Thank you for putting this together. I am really enjoying this map. I have played it many times with many settings.
I like the way that the beach assault works.
Too frequently it does feel like one side has a starting advantage, which I find frustrating ...
