Player will choose their own map on sign-up, maps setting will be sequential and standard. Reinforcements and visability are up to the player. Players can have the same maps.
First three rounds of the tournament will be best of 3 legs to win 1 set. Best of 3 sets to progress to the next round.
In round 1 therefore, you will play one game on your map and one on your opponents map. If a decider is needed, I will select a map which no one else has taken as their map on sign-up, all deciders in that batch of games will be played on the same map.
The winner of the best of 3 wins the first set. You will then play another game on your map and your opponents map to decide the second set and another set of games if needed to decide the third set. Minimum amount of games you will play when joining then is four.
Games will be sent out two at a time, deciders on their own.
The quarter-finals and semi-finals will be played over 5 legs to win the set and the final itself, 7 legs to win the set.
QF - Two games will be sent out, one of each of the players maps, if level after the first two games, a further two games on the same maps will be sent out. A deciding random map will follow if needed.
If someone wins 2-0, the next maps will be randomly selected.
For the final, two maps of each of the competing players choices will be issued, ie four games, two on each map. Depending on the score, the next maps will either be the players choice maps or the random map.
Match ups will be decided on timing of sign-ups, player 1 will play player 64, player 2 against player 63 and so on.
