HINT: you have to remeber your geomerty proofs #81 Three cards, each with a positive integer written on it, are lying face-down on a table.
Jennifer, Brian, and Ed are told that:
a) the numbers are all different
b) they sum to 13, and
c) they are in increasing order, left to right
First, Jennifer looks at the number on the leftmost card and says, "I dont have enough information to determine the other two numbers."
Then, Ed looks at the number on the rightmost card and says, "I dont have enough information to determine the other two numbers."
Finally, Brian looks at the number on the middle card and says, "I dont have enough information to determine the other two numbers."
The three people are perfect logicians and always tell the truth, and know that they are all perfect logicans and always tell the truth. They all hear what the others are saying.
What is the number on the middle card?(7 points)
#85 What name has three "A"s in it where each has a different sound?(4) Adriana is not what i was looking for, but points still, question still open,
HINT: it was an american hero
#88 After each day, you get one less than twice as many dollars as you got the day before. You get one dollar on March 26, so how many dollars did you get on March 21?(4)
#89 Five men are standing in a circle. They know they are wearing at least 2 white hats and at least 2 black hats. They do not know what color hat they are wearing. If the men use logic, how many of them will figure out what color their hat is, if nobody says anything?(5)
#90 If 3 men can eat 3 steaks in 3 days, how many steaks can 6 men eat in 6 days?(5)

#86 If a rooster is perched on the top of a barn with the barn roof sloping east and west, and just as the sun rises the rooster lays an egg, on which side of the barn will the egg roll?(4) rooster don't lay eggs - Mr dex.
#84 Write a 10-digit number. The first digit tells how many zeroes there are in the number. The second digit tells how many ones that are in the number. The third digit tells how many twos there are in the number, and so on. The last number tells how many nines there are in the number. What is this number?(7) is 6 2 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0. - onbekende
#87 Four people are suspected of stealing a diamond from a museum. If one of their statements are true, and one is false, who is the thief?

Let's say that there are 3 white hats and 2 black hats. A person with a black hat would see 3 white hats and 1 black hat, and would therefore deduce that his own hat is black. The other black hat person would see the exact same thing, and would deduce that his own hat was black.
The other 3 white hat people, on the other hand, can't figure out what hat they're wearing, because all they see is 2 white hats and 2 black hats.
If you reverse the situation, it's the exact same thing. If there are 3 black hats and 2 white hats, the 2 white hat people see 3 black hats and 1 white hat, knowing that their own hat is white, while the other 3 black hat people only see 2 black hats and 2 white hats.
Assuming that all hats must be either black or white, and that no one can tell anybody else what colour their hat is, the answer is 2 people.

Risk_06 I am going to bed soon, just waiting up for my good lady now.
My workings so far this evening if you can make any sense of them:
1 Other cards could be 3/9 4/8 5/7
2 knows the numbers
10 Knows the numbers
1 Other cards could be 3/9 4/8 5/7
3 other cards could be 1/9 2/8 If he knows that card 3 isn't nine, it must be 8
9 Knows the numbers
1 Other cards could be 3/9 4/8 5/7 He knows card 3 isn't 9 it must be 8 or 7
4 Other cards could be 1/8 2/7 3/6 he knows card 1 isn't 3 it must be 1 or 2
8 Other cards could be 1/4 2/3

4 Other cards could be 1/8 2/7 3/6 he knows card one isn't a 3 it must be 1 or 2
6 knows the numbers
Person 1 doesn't draw 3 or he knows the numbers. He can draw 1 or 2.
Person 2 doesn't draw 2 or he knows the numbers. He knows card 1 isn't 3. He knows card one is lower than his card. He can draw 3 4 or 5 and not know what card 1 is.
Person 3 doesn't draw 9 or 10 or he knows the numbers. He know card one isn't 3 and card 2 isn't 2. He can draw a 6 7 or 8
Unless I am missing something (possible at this time of night) we cannot tell if the middle card is a 3 a 4 or a 5.
