Please refer to the below tabs for details on the rest of the tourney, and advancement.
To start off the tourney, as stated before, there will be 8 divisions of 8 teams each. Each division in the first round is named after a map. The players in that division will play in 8 games ALL of which will be on the map of which the division is named after. Using the point system that was previously stated, the top 4 players from each division will advance to round 2.

There will now be 4 divisions of 8. The players in each divisions once again will play 8 games against each other using the same point system. HOWEVER, the 8 games will now be played on all of the 8 maps previously listed, instead of one map. The top 4 from each division will once again move on to the next round.

Players remaining from the division of Africa will merge with Australia, Central America with Canada, England with France, and Haiti with Japan.

There will now be 2 divisions of 8. These players will repeat the same steps as round 2, playing 8 games on all 8 maps, and following the same point system. The top 4 teams from each division will move on.

There will now be 1 division of 8. These players will repeat the same steps as round 2 and 3; playing 8 games on all 8 maps, and following the same point system. The top 2 teams from each division will move on to the final!

Finally, there will be 4 remaining players. Those players will play 7 games on the World 2.1 map. Whoever wins the majority of those games will be deemed the champion! (NOTE: if there is a tie, there will be a 1 game playoff between the players who are tied).
Ok, so don't forget to comment with what division you'd like to be in, and try and go down in history as the champ!

This was correctly locked by one of our newest TD's. :)

Sorry, fusibaseball, in January of this year, you abandoned your second, third, fourth, and fifth tournaments, which earned you a ban of one year from tournament organizing, per our abandoned tournaments policy (found here: viewtopic.php?f=89&t=124597).

This tournament will be canceled for now and moved to abandoned. It will not count against you. You can start hosting tournaments again on January 15, 2014.
