Hi all!
So anyone else got a problem with esc? When i reach a certain point like 10k (yes i play esc and trench) the computer have serious problem handling that mass of troopers.... it can even go so far that the script start to not respond, quiet frustrating!
I only have this problem at work:) not at home where my computer is a bit newer...
Is there anything i can do to keep playing at work?:) ANd i know other have the same problem...
Thx

I'm also experiencing this. It makes playing those games very difficult.

There are suggestions in that forum to revert escalating back to normal... or at least on some settings. I advise you give your support to this idea.

Re: Esc and trench compute hang up
I have found my only solution to be my home computer and Firefox. Any other browser hangs up. This problem has caused me to ineffect cut my turn short because I have to race yo my home computer before time expires.
Sometimes I can crash out of the program, restart, relog-in and that will get one step further. But having todo that 9 or 10 times per turn is not enjoyable.
And I also like esc, trench.

I think you saw the other thread, but just so it's clear, this isn't a unique problem for escalating and trench -- in general, the system has trouble dealing with troop numbers this large. I believe that the number of games reaching this level is now higher because of the escalating change, particularly for trench where it's harder to eliminate the opponents early in the game.
But I don't think these large troop numbers have always caused local lag -- this is likely something to do with the Panel mode that's different from how it used to be. There's a bit of processing of the game board for analysis purposes that happens automatically now (and previously only happened if you had BOB). Try turning off Panel mode -- and, of course, any add-ons like BOB if you're using them -- and see if that resolves the issue, as a quick fix.
