Stack, stack, stack, stack, stack, stack....
Ok, what's the deal with everyone just stacking their troops all the time in no-spoils/flat-rate, no-turn-limit games? I can understand that tactic in escalating games where the reinforcements increase a lot over time, but I mean, in no spoils or flat rate, assuming people are holding roughly the same amount of bonuses, it just becomes a never-ending Mexican stand-off, with everyone waiting for someone else to pull the trigger. Ugh. If I wanted to play a stacking game, I'd play Jenga.

It works. No fighting no losses.

It's *lame*. What's the point of playing a war game if you're not going to fight? Does Risk have some pacifist expansion pack I don't know about?

actually its the opposite,
in escalating you wont want to go for the kill,
cash then when you cash take out somebody, get their cards and cash again and hopefully clear the board.
this stacking is done in multi player no card or flat rate where it reaches a point where two opponents attack one another they're either destroying themselves or giving other players/player a huge advantage.
