i updated, the scores and brackets. guess these spoiler tabs arent' gonna be fixed anytime soon. i'll give it a few more days and if nothing changes i'll go through and remove them, and post each bracket individually so it's more clear

scores and brackets updated, as well as available matchups.
all round 1 games are done, and mostly round 2. scoreboard will start looking different once all these deep games start finishing.

Would love to see min/max columns if you do another one in this format!

this has been a really friendly tournament to run, so i will do another, maybe a poly one too.Riskmaster101 wrote: Thu Dec 04, 2025 9:00 am Would love to see min/max columns if you do another one in this format!
but what do you mean "min/max column"? just a column that shows the highest leg of a bracket a player made it to? or can you explain a little better what you mean?

Re: 1v1 Nothings Ever Easy (underway)
I’m thinking like at this point, I have an implied minimum score (based on where I am in each bracket). It’s like you start with a minimum of each bracket *-1 and a maximum of each bracket *+4 … does that make sense? As you go, that narrows. If you win a game, your minimum would increase and if you lose your maximum would decrease.

ok, i see what you mean. that should be simple enough. (i think) i'll post it with the next score update. i don't think i can make a spreadsheet formula for it tho. but what i could do is start it once all the round 1 games are finished. that will cut the amount of games i have to pour over down. but i'll see how it goes it may not be too bad with the round 1's also.Riskmaster101 wrote: Thu Dec 04, 2025 8:09 pm I’m thinking like at this point, I have an implied minimum score (based on where I am in each bracket). Just a thought! It’s kind of hard to stare at and see people with 0 or +1 and no active brackets when you can be at -1 or -2 with guaranteed 4-8 points coming depending on finals.

yeah, it's a good point. i went ahead and did it. it's not too bad of a chore, but i think i will wait til all round 1 games are complete for the next one. that's like double the games i'd have to tabulate each update, and being so early it kind of wouldn't tell a whole lot at that point anyway. all round one are complete in this one.Riskmaster101 wrote: Thu Dec 04, 2025 9:33 pm Just a thought! i also sorted by lowest possible guaranteed score too. which seems like it makes more sense.
