I'd always rather start at night. At least we have something to go on, a lead that can conceptually lead somewhere. When the game starts on day one, it's brutal.

I like starting with Day 1 better when I'm town, and Night 1 when I'm scum.

I don't hate, him but I think it was an odd kill since he never really helps the town.

Well, it strikes me as a random type kill. Which probably means we have an experienced mafia.

FOS Fircoal ;)

No it means we have newbie mafia. Experence would go after other people with experence.

Not necessarily. An experienced mafia might take down wisse knowing that it tells us precious little, tho it's not terribly likely since wisse is almost bizarrely good at talking himself into a lynch (and the mafia always loves players like that).

That's what makes it seems like a newbie kill.

So what we've determined is that we're completely lost. That doesn't help.

In the context, I think it's more like nothing than anything else.

The only reason I can think of to be surprised by the night kill is if you were expecting someone else to have died.

I see your point, but you're right, it isn't much to go on. I still think he's cool, though.

Breaking News

A shot was heard in the colony corridors. The governer announced that Colaalone has been found, dead. A quick search reveals he was interested in politics.

Colaalone (Politician) is dead!

Continue with day. With 10 remaining people it takes 6 to lynch.

Note: This is NOT a modkill.

Huh.

That doesn't make any sense. Why colaalone? He'd made a grand total of one post thus far that I can remember.

Something seriously goofy is going on here.

Also, I've never heard of the politician role. can anyone enlighten me?

Every night he chooses one person. He controls that vote via pm for the day, thus depriving that person of his vote. No one would know about it unless some noticed that the vote count said that the person was voting for someone else.

Why would somebody kill Colaalone? Like Incandenza said, he made a grand total of one post. Weird…

For every role, there are opposites. There is a mafia cop, mafia doctor ect. So it is possible to have something (mafia aren't the only ones that kill) that can kill during the day. everywhere did say there would be twists, and I guess that this is one of them.
