Some have different priorities based on different circumstances and different understandings from different lessons, different experiences, different results, and different education.
To some, fighting political correctness was a major priority. Some of those some know not too much really changes just because the office of president changes. But this time, for once, political correctness took a missile to the sausage and up into the pee hole. IMO, trump could do nothing but talk shit n play golf for 4 years and still accomplish a bigger and more fundamental goal of returning america to the home of the brave rather than a bunch of scaredy cats scared to speak against any grain that isn't p.c. our freedom of speech has been weakened and whittled down for a long time. Now freedom of speech is stronger.
Trump ain't going to be President for his full 4 year term.
You can rant and cry about political correctness, but Trump is whining and crying bout how the media is picking on his righteous Presidency.
He will either resign or get impeached for "Obstruction of Justice." The lies coming from his administration is a daily thing and his firing of FBI Director Comey was a way of slowing the investigation of Russian involvement in our election.
Trump is a Clown and is insulting and degrading the office of the President. Just wondering when Paul Ryan will get Trump's dick out of his mouth and do the correct thing for America?
Even the New Republic is bored of the Russophobic conspiracy theories that are boxing-in the withering Democratic minority into a marginalized irrelevance of conspiracy mongering---
Stop promoting liberal conspiracy theories on Twitter.
Louise Mensch doesn’t know anything about the Russia investigation. No one sane would leak any valuable information to a person who isn’t a journalist and whose only moment of public self-awareness occurred in 2012, when she appeared on the BBC’s Question Time and announced: “I did serious drugs and it messed with my head.”
Nevertheless, an aide for Democratic Senator Ed Markey reportedly cited Mensch as a source for the senator’s claim that a grand jury has been empaneled in New York to investigate the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia. The problem? Grand jury subpoenas were issued in Virginia. There’s no evidence of a second grand jury in New York. He got the claim from Mensch.
Markey’s other source, The Palmer Report, also has a checkered reputation. As Dana Milbank previously reported for The Washington Post, the website started the conspiracy theory that Vladimir Putin ordered Bashar al-Assad to launch a chemical weapons attack against his own people to boost Donald Trump’s standing in America. Markey has since retracted his claim.
But Mensch and The Palmer Report are part of a disturbing emerging trend. Liberals desperate to believe that the right conspiracy will take down Donald Trump promote their own purveyors of fake news.

WHAT? you want to sword fight Trump for the space in Putin's mouth?????
lol - you rode that anti-Russia conspiracy theory straight into losing the White House, Supreme Court, both chambers of Congress, and a majority of state legislatures
so by all means, keep riding deeper into the woods - i'm lovin' it! ... say hi to the Roswell aliens while you're back there

Who's we?
Frank Hollande survived 5 years with a 9% approval rating. Trump ain't going anywhere.
Americans become easily exhausted by a single story line. So long as Russia occupies all attention there will be a general tune out of everything political.
Trump 2020 Trump 2024 Trump 2028
The difference being that Hollande wasn't an unprepared, uncontrollable, twitter addict, spending more time on golf courts than in the office corrupt nuttcase. I m embarassed for you saxi.

right - he was so prepared, he prepared his way right to a 9% approval rating

Hey Q- Yeah- that was pretty weird too. I briefly considered putting it in, but it's only tangentially related to the issue.
For people who're interested in the Nixon parallels, my poll was too early to pick up on the weird news that Trump might be wire-tapping (or should that be "wire-tapping") himself. I'm not sure how suggesting that he's been secretly recording his conversations is really helping himself on that one, especially now that investigators are demanding he turn them over.
It's a no-win scenario there. Pretty weird.
Sort of looks like Sean Spicer is going to be thrown under the bus though.

Only one person voted on Trump's secretive meeting with the Russians, but whoever it was wins the poll*. Weirdness abounded post-conference. Trump revealed top-secret intelligence. Then it turned out it was from the Israelis, who specifically asked that it not be shared, especially not with Iran-allied Russia. Then there was the whole mess of Trump's planned visit to Israel (a bizarre story in itself). Then news that Trump reassured the Russians that he'd fired the FBI director because he was feeling pressured by the FBI's investigation into his campaign's ties to Russia.
Eleswhere in the poll- White House chaos picked up 3 votes, but tied at 4 were the options for how Comey learned of his firing (via TV), and Trump's weird behaviour whenever his ties to Russia are mentioned (screaming).
Kind of an interesting result- Trump's WH has been pretty negative about the media. Maybe he just doesn't understand how it works?
*Kittens picked up votes too, tying second with 3. A wise vote in these troubled times.

Kittens are cute got the vote for me.
The press conference proved to be more explosive than anyone could of expected= literally anyone. Apparently the WH aides were scrambling to contain it.
The most interesting insight into the Trump WH, for me, was that the most innocent explanation- that Trump is a moron who has no idea what he's doing, is also the explanation that nobody in the WH can air.
If Spicer et al. just released kitten pics, they'd be so much better off.

Anyway, the last poll was lacking in options for Trump supporters, so I've compiled a few options for a new poll. I left out the "Dems should be overjoyed about Comey's firing" due to it being idiotic (sorry Saxi), but will add it in if demand warrants.
