The reason I brought it up as an American problem is because a lot of Trump supporters were saying it would all end when he was elected.
Ha! Anybody who says that and/or believes that is an idiot. Rhetoric is rhetorical, it's just facepalm kinda stuff. As in, don't take it seriously. There are plenty of Trump supporters and haters who equally aren't too good at facing reality.
The reality of Saudi Arabia is the Petrodollar and it's dominance of OPEC. That is the sole reason why everyone turns the blind eye. Hell, I'm half a mind believing that Saudi Arabia's true goal in all this is to seize Qatar's vast Natgas field. A field which it shares with Iran. The North Field is the biggest Natgas field in the whole fucking world. Not only that, and this isn't something that is very well known but should be, is that Qatar cost to extract is the lowest anywhere in the world. The Russians can't even extract Natgas as cheaply as the Qatari can.
Saudi Arabia dominates the region because of it's oil reserves. Qatar produces virtually zero oil and Saudi Arabia produces virtually zero Natgas. This put Qatar in the enviable position of not being at the mercy of Saudi influence much to the irk of the Saudi's. Saudi Arabia decrees OPEC cut oil production? Qatar doesn't give a shit because Qatar produces Natgas, not oil.
What I'm waiting for, is the conspiracy theories stating that good ole Trump and the Saudi King sat around and plotted about how Saudi Arabia was going to get her hands on all that Qatari Natgas goodness. There is a whole underbelly of events proceeding this that I won't go into unless you want me to. Needless to say Saudi Arabia has been looking to do something like this for a long time.
I think the Qatari biggest mistake was getting all punch drunk rich really quickly because of the North Field and then used that money to increase it's political influence around the region and the world. They'd have been better off just getting rich, shutting the f*ck up and minding their own business. Instead the little nation wanted to pretend she was a big nation because she had a bunch of cash burning holes in her pockets and went around investing and creating a bunch of crazy intrigues around the world and region. Dumbasses.

patches70 wrote:Qatar is a POS. It's filled with Salafi assholes. When a Muslim blows himself up in the middle of a concert and blows up little girls and teenagers, the asshole was a Salafi most likely. Salafi's are such assholes that other Muslims hate them. When people say "These terrorists don't represent True Islam" they are talking about the Salafi movement. The Salafi's and the Wahhabi are vile incarnations.
Saudi Arabia has a large amount of Salafi as well who consider themselves as Wahhabi, but to my eyes there is little difference between the two. Saudi and Qatar have never liked each other very much. What really pissed Saudi Arabia off was the so called Arab Spring in Egypt. In Egypt it started off as food riots and ended with the Muslim Brotherhood taking over the government. The Brotherhood was supported by Qatar. Saudi Arabia doesn't like the Brotherhood because the House of Saud views them as revolutionaries trying to knock off Ruling Families. The House of Saud is particularly anxious of such things for obvious reasons. The House's fear and paranoia of overthrow really fuels their totalitarian and repressive regime IMO.
Anywho, the Egyptian military really hates the Muslims Brotherhood and after a while the Egyptian military went ahead and removed the Muslim Brotherhood and resumed their normal campaign of killing and imprisoning as many of the Brothers as they can get their hands on. Since Qatar supports the Brotherhood both morally, materially and financially it's fairly obvious whey the Egyptians hate Qatar.
Qatar is also a major player behind the scenes in the attempted overthrow of the House of Assad. It's the Qatar Natgas pipeline that needs to go through Syria after all and Assad has denied them permission to build it.
The US interest in Qatar is corporate. US oil companies have invested a whole lot of money building and developing Qatar's ability to exploit it's vast Natgas supplies. Qatar is probably has the second largest or largest liquid Natgas reserves in the world and before the US companies came and developed all those resources to exploit those reserves, that Natgas was just sitting there because Qatar doesn't have the technical know-how to actually build Natgas exploitation infrastructure. All the Qatar could do was pump the stuff out of the ground and load it onto tankers to be shipped to customers, a very expensive and time consuming effort. To truly get the most bang for their buck they need a pipeline to move the product. A pipeline that has to go through Syria. Saudi Arabia long ago banned the Qatari from using their pipeline infrastructure because of previous reasons mentioned, the Saud just don't like the Qatari. The whole war in Syria, all those deaths, the mass migrations, the refugee crisis, the terrorist attacks in Europe, all caused because Qatar needs to build a pipeline through Syria and Assad told them to go f*ck themselves.
The US supports the "moderate rebels" in Syria because of lobbying efforts from US oil companies who are looking for a return on their investment of billions into the Qatar Natgas facilities that they built for the Qatari. Previous of this the US government got along just fine with Syria and Assad.
Qatar is the puppet master behind the scenes that have long since been financing and sponsoring Salafi Jihadism around the world. Make no mistakes, the Salafi movement is dangerous, breeds extremists and suicide bombing losers who have no problem with blowing up a bunch of teen girls having fun at a concert.
It is also possible that Saudi Arabia is covering it's own ass so to speak by doing this, since Saudi Arabia is also a sponsor of terrorism and extreme Wahabbism which is just as bad as the Salafi movement. In fact, a lot of Salafists consider themselves Wahabbis. If your country is infested with Salafist and Wahabis, then you're going to have a bad time. If your country has numbers of other Muslim sects, say Zadi or Shafi'i for instance, you aren't going to have any problem with them at all. They don't tend to blow themselves up at concerts attended by teen children and pretty much just mind their own business.
So, in short, f*ck Qatar.
Lol you are so wrong on many things, and I can see how saoudi arabia influences your opinion.. First off, Salafists are ultra orthodox muslims in general that want the followers of islam to go back to the age of mahoma and the next two generations lifestyle, they are against any western civilisation way of life among other things. There is some salafism both in qatar and SA, but SA is way more hard core in that matter. Cheikh Al Thani is way more progressist. He has been developing Qatar abroad in the past 20 years through real estate and sports investments mostly in the UK, Germany, France and the US. Qatar's aura has grown a lot during this period of time, while SA hasn't, and there has also been a long time rivalry between the two, Qatar's international visibility is really not well seen from Ryad. The big problem between the two is also the fact that Doha (suni like ryad) and Teheran (chii) are getting closer and are starting to cooperate on a few subjects, while they were supposed to be their nemesis... and Ryad is not accepting this.
And no.. saying that Qatar finances terrorism is being fucking ignorant. There are indeed some salafist rich people from Qatar financing it, but obviously undercover and it does not come from the state.. the state of Qatar is working very hard to accomplish quite the opposite.
Saoudi Arabia is way more backwards than Qatar, but they have stronger ties with the US. They are using the US as puppets, with that morron trump, to fulfill their own agenda in the gulf as Qatar's influence regionally and worldwide has grown way too much.

Gulf Cooperation Council invasion of Qatar could happen within days says Abdel Bari Atwan
If the European Superpowers are planning on throwing themselves in front of the train, they need to hurry ... they have like 72 hours to recruit, organize, equip, train, and deploy a 50,000-man EU Army halfway around the world.
If I were Qatar, I'd be looking for new allies. An angry YouTube video from Macron isn't going to stop the Saudi Army and its $100 billion in new American weapons.

I don't know where you got the idea that the EU has a military alliance with Qatar, but I guess that's another piece of Saxi's dreamworld.

Let's just agree to grab a bucket of popcorn and enjoy how the middle east gets itself yet again into another war. Fingers crossed that Iran tries to meddle.

PS, a friend of mine is his cousin's wife's driver as they live here and he owns Malaga's soccer team. He's making 5000€ a month, not bad for driving and wanking in a luxurious car all day.

Is that part of the position's requirements?
If so, "driver" may not be an accurate job description.

I haven't asked him! Although I have to say the wanking part is more about florishing adornment to my story. But hey, I m pretty sure most limo driver have wanked at least once on the driver s seat after doing nothing all day. Just like cops that have to stay all night in a car for nothing. Waaaank!

Qatar has long been accused of providing direct support and aid to Islamic terrorist groups like ISIS and al-Qaida. Moreover, Doha is unapologetically supportive of the Muslim Brotherhood and its Palestinian branch in Hamas. Qatar has long been home to the top political official of Hamas and the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, both of whom have endorsed terrorist attacks against innocents.

Again, this is totally false. There is indeed support coming from qatar, but it s not from the state nor the royal family. It would make 0 sense.
