Getting a hundred people to participate in a forum poll, even if it's just one simple click, is actually a lot.

And giving the huge lopsided result is clear evidence. It would be a lot worse if it was 60/40 or something.

During April Challenge, I started a couple or more 1v1 Soviet Union games where opponents joined and went first playing right away without letting me see the initial drop. It gave them early bonuses of which I was unaware. That cost me few defeats in a Challenge requiring a 60% win ratio, so I just skipped that Challenge and couldn't be bothered.

I had 500 Soviet games in April. I think I started them all, or close to!

For as many times as I started the game immediately, I had an opponent who started the game immediately.

So it "evens out" as they say in regards to the shitty dice phenomenon.

It just depends on who "randomly" goes first.

Terminology such as "evens out" should never be used in a skills game! In fact, it can ONLY be used when skills are not required, and the outcome has more to do with chance. How do you "even out" your skills? Just looking at the terminology used on cc indicates problems!

just pointing out who I'd of guessed to get a strike first, and I like llama we play 10+ partner games a week he just always getting chat bans lol and your ok to caffine

Oh there's actually people voting "no"!
I can totally see that this would be great. I wasn't aware the waiting time was 12 hours, but generally try and give my opponent as long as possible. What this would save is having to go through all the games to see if any new ones have begun and take snaps.
As for increase storage, isn't that part of the membership charges? If many players are already doing this, what's the additional?

This has bothered a few people who all assume I know the rule (I'd seen some things about snaps before but never bothered to ask because I didn't care, and I've been playing for years.)

I hate unwritten rules. So if a snap is required at the beginning of fog games, make the technology do it. Otherwise, people should start assuming I'm being a "doosh" because I take my turns when I can. Sometimes I can log on 10 times a day. Sometimes, I barely make it back within 24 hours. So WTF should I wait?

Until this gets fixed, the sporting thing to do is tell your opponent in chat what they would have seen if they had been able to get a snap. You can also ask for the same if they take a turn before you get a snap. It's not required, but it's good sportsmanship to do so. Even if it has been 20 hours, if an opponent tells me they didn't get a snap, I'll tell them everything they missed.

306 wins out of 500 Soviet Union games during the April monthly challenge.

That was good for over 60% win ratio to get onto the scoreboard!

Generally I have less than 60% win ratio.

So I would answer, YES! My notes do seem to be working!

A picture isn't worth jack shee-it when you don't get a picture of the drop!!!!!!!!!!
