Re: Cloak and Dagger (Ongoing) Terminator Bonanza, res. (1/4)
Ok, so most of the first leg games are up and running. I apologize to those of you who received incorrect game links and thank you for your patience while I sorted it all out. Good luck to everyone, and don't forget to make a note of which game you are the killer in. I'll post results in some form as the games progress and will have detailed results when groups complete the leg in it's entirety.

Re: Cloak and Dagger (Ongoing) Terminator Bonanza, res. (1/4)
Apologies if this has already been addressed earlier, but what is the preferred etiquette as far as revealing yourself as the killer? For example, if I'm the killer and I get eliminated, but the game is still ongoing, can I reveal to the other players in chat that I was the killer, or should we wait until the game is completed? Or should we wait until all 6 games are completed?
I guess that as I write this, it occurs to me that probably the best way to do it is to wait until all 6 games are completed, yes?

I would think after all six games are completed.

It is best if we wait for the round to finish. Since everyone has one shot at being the killer in each round it would disadvantage other players whose games aren't completed yet. I'd love to start posting some results, for instance, but I can't until the groups are complete. Thanks for biting your tongue, i know it can be frustrating and tough to hold in, but we all appreciate it. Speaking of results, one or two groups are finishing up their leg, so I'll have some results posted on Thursday, hopefully.
Re: Cloak and Dagger (Ongoing) Terminator Bonanza, res. (1/4)
any chance that u could post how many games are completed out of 6 for each group? just as an overall update on the progress of the toruny... i cant wait to see the standing.. should be fun to see how everyone did...

Re: Cloak and Dagger (Ongoing) Terminator Bonanza, res. (1/4)

As we move into Leg 2 I guess I should clarify tiebreakers. The first tiebreaker will be overall points, which won't really matter until next round, then overall kills, then Sheriffs bonuses + kills as the Killer. It's hard to imagine that we'll have to go further than that, so, yeah. Good luck in round two, send me a pm if you have trouble joining your games.

Re: Cloak and Dagger (Ongoing) Terminator Bonanza, res. (1/4)
Dako is inactive at the moment and his account is being taken care of by danryan, both of whom are in the same group. This presents a couple of problems. A) danryan obviously can't play both roles, and I don't have any more reserves, so we will have to wait about a week for Dako to come back and join his games on his own. B) danryan can't know which game Dako is the killer in, so when he does return i will re-scramble killer assignments to balance things, so I'll keep you guys posted as regards to that.

I guess after round 1 you are going to cut the field in half, then do the same after round 2, leaving 6 players in the finals - do points reset after each round, or do they carry forward?

My intention was to have them reset at the beginning of round two, with points earned in round one coming into play in a tiebreaker situation. We don't necessarily have to do it that way if people have strong opinions to the contrary, but that's how I envisioned it.

If you need a replacement for [player]digger8205[/player] or anyone else, jot me down on the list.

Last game of group C Leg 1 will finish in 1 turn. Game 4850684.
This is the last game of Leg 1 so we can actually see the results and points so far.
Also, why only 2 groups started Leg 2 games? What about others? How will this tourney continue?

Ok, so we've gotten some replacements, games have been sent out to the two groups that haven't started, leg 1 is finally coming to a close and everything is peachy-keen. Special thanks to MyTurnToWin for hounding me into action and providing some much needed candidates for replacements.
