Thanks to everyone who has signed up! Looks like I wound up with a lot of reserves in the end, which is nice. We'll have to wait and see if any of them need to be called upon at some point.

Right now my plan is to launch the games tomorrow during the day. Be watching for the invitations in your inbox.

Games have been sent to all groups. I will send the second set of 4 games in 7-10 days depending on how things are progressing. Good luck to everyone!

You can see who is in each of the 8 first round groups by viewing the first round standings at the beginning of the thread.

Looks like everyone is in there games nicely at this point. One person had a mishap with the invitation system so they should be in those last games shortly.

I'll be back in a week to check out the results and send out the next games.

Just starting the weekly review of completed games. When finished the first round results will be updated and the second set of 4 games will be sent to each group.

Alrighty, all the games have been checked (4 were complete and are recorded in the first round standings) and the new games have been sent to everyone. I'll check back in about 48 hours to make sure we don't have any stragglers with getting into the new games.

It appears that all of the games from the second set to each group are now filled and active. Now we just need to finish all of the first round games to see who advances to the next round.

I will return in about 5-7 days to update the standings with the newly completed games to that point.

I have just finished updating the first round standings. Looks like most groups are about 50% of the way through their games, which is great. Some of the groups feature tight races and some are completely blown open by one player.

Keep up the good work! I'll check back in about a week again for another standings update.

haha, he ended with 9, came in first and second the last 2. but ya, it was amazing how long it took

OP, just wondering if we could get a standings update, all but two games are done and I'd like to know who else is in the next round. Sorry to be impatient, but it has been 2 weeks, thx.

Seriously what is going on...

ok, it has now been 4 weeks since the lat update, I think he forgot about the tourney. This is to bump it one more time, then I will PM him if there's still no update

Final standings for the first round are now updated. I'll get the second round groups made later today and get game invitations out as well.

Second round groups have been set and posted in the standings area at the beginning of the thread.

Games 1-4 of the second round have been created and the invitations have been sent to the players. Games 5-8 will go out in about 7-10 days.

Remember, unlike the first round, only the top scoring player from each group will advance to the finals.

The second round standings have been updated (only 1 completed game) and the second set of games has been sent out to all players. Now we just need them to finish so we can determine who the finalists are.

By way of information, amazzony will be joining her games on May 2 due to a travel conflict.
