if we would be allowed to have academy like other clans, then we would be happy to get you prepared for the clan

you would need a good recommendation from a fellow OSA mate or better overall stats to be considered ;)

why would you not be allowed to start a social clan as a training ground?

I don't think so, benja. I've been part of starting a training group and I believe having 10 members is the only requirement, just as in every other social group. You would have that with some of your clanmates joining the group. If I'm wrong then things have changed a lot lately.

For a training group existing clan members cannot take up more than 50%, so they could have 5 OSA but need 5 min trainees.

why do you even need that any one with 9 friends can start a social group just don't put the word training in title and do what ever you want with it

don't think you can and no we didn't have training in title

in the end silver is right, I or anyone else would need to take additional time to do this
and it is too painful without having some kind of forum for organizing and stuff

Maybe a couple of clans could get together to have a dual training group...

How about a training group for all clans with all players wishing to join clans (could be held within the society of cooks) and some draft picks like in the nba?

The guidelines we've received from the Admins is that any usergroup would be removed if it's membership is significantly similar to that of an active clan.

There was some consternation around it, but I don't think we managed to get it changed, so I think any 'training' usergroup would need at least 25-30% unique members as compared to the clan. (Obviously the aforementioned 50% would be the safest benchmark)
