thanks, does it vary at all? coz i like playin all kinda of games to keep it interesting and not repetitive, having said that i rarely play anythin sept classic but like varying cards and forts. does this happen?

alex - this thread is for the major games started by tahitiwahini. Nothing to stop others from setting up their own private games with different settings and posting in call-outs.

The strict requirement is that you have at least been a major before. If you are not at the moment you can still join games.

So far, the games have all been the same. I did that because I still find them interesting in that I still learn something new almost every game. At some point people will get bored with the same format all the time. People don't seem to play more than 2 or 3 of these games and then I guess they move on.

If you want to set up something similar but for a different game style I think that's a great idea -- all I would ask is that you do it in a separate thread. Someone previously had an idea to set up a thread for majors where any major could post a callout for any sort of game they wanted to set up. Sounded like a good idea to me, but I'm not sure it was ever implemented.

If you set something up, let me know, I'll try a few games.

Thanks I appreciate the heads up. Normally I notice when they are finished on the My Games page, but sometimes when I'm eliminated early (hate when that happens) I lose track of the game.

I was once (about a year ago in the early stages of CC) a major. I quit but have recently rejoined. Can i join a game or two? If so, I have some questions I will just get out of the way- what are the game specs? and is it realtime?

i was hoping to keep the games to majors or higher, or if your score is 1600 or higher. Try and get the score up before joining

I understand what you're saying but I'd rather you didn't join until you are a captain within shouting distance of major again. I don't think it would be fair to the other players under the present circumstances (your score is 1041).

The gamespecs are described in the first post and none of the games are realtime.
