I won Game 3816009. So I'm going to try to figure the score.

Winning player
Win head-to-head = 7 pts (TD) :D
Win in 7 rounds or less = 7 pts (TD) :D
Win in 10 rounds or less = 3 pts (FG)
Gain 12 troops in landmass/owned card bonuses = 3 pts. (FG) :D
Gain 25 troops in landmass/owned card bonuses = 7 pts. (TD)
Win territory battle (see game chat) = 3 pts (FG) :D
Prevent opponent from gaining any owned card/landmass bonus = 2 pts. (safety) :D

So this gives me 22 pts. 22-0 Am I right?

2nd Quarter game # 3815999 between #4 Alabama and #13 Oklahoma State is over, I believe the score for this quarter was 26-0 in my favor.

Win head to head, 7
Win in less than 7 rds, 7
Gain 25 in Landmass/Owned Card bonuses, 7
Territory bonus, hold Mindoro at end of rd 5, 3
Prevent opponent from getting any Landmass/Owned card bonus, 2

I am quite sure I did all these, so is the final score after the 1st quarter 26 to 3?

do i have this correct flex?

The score after the first quarter is actually 10-3...
BYU scored for winning the territory battle, holding Missouri after 5 rounds.

Oklahoma scored 7 points for winning the map
Oklahoma scored 3 points for having 16 (12 or more) in landmass and owned card bonuses -- 10 from New England through the game and 6 in card bonuses.

The game went 11 rounds...that is the middle ground in our football scoring, so no points for either side on that criteria.

JoJo and big easy have their scores correct.

Sorry if it's a bit confusing...I wanted it to be as simple as possible. I've uploaded a scoring table that appears under the boxscores on the opening post.

Basically, you get a field goal for 12+ bonus OR you get a touchdown for 25+ bonus.
The same goes for the length of the game...you don't get both bonuses...you score the biggest bonus — a TD for winning in 7 or less OR a field goal for winning in 10 or less. Hopefully, the table makes in easier to understand..

Scores have been updated through tonight, including my first-round thrashing my NightStrike and USC :x

Quite the performance by Alabama, especially in the second quarter to take a 45-0 halftime lead — the biggest margin to this point in the tourney.

We have four potential first-round upsets in the making with the biggest being #14 Georgia Tech going into halftime with an 18-16 lead over #3 Texas — a second-quarter safety is the difference.

In other games, #11 Texas Christian holds a solid 20-3 lead over #6 Utah at halftime, and #10 Ohio State leads #7 Texas Tech 37-0 at the break. #9 Boise State leads #8 Penn State 16-0 at the end of the first quarter.

In EvilSemp's defense, he's gotten crummy dice, and in the 2nd Quarter I dropped a bonus (+1 for all Docks) and got to act first. So I got 6 armies first turn, he started with 4.

I think I've got it now. It was a little confusing at first. But I love the table...good job!

The game tags are having problems for some reason...at least as of late Thursday night. Better to just type the number for your matchup into the game finder until they can get it fixed.

Oklahoma State takes the 3rd Quarter, 13-3.

Evil Semp received 7 points for winning,
3 for winning in 10 rounds or less (round 8),
and 3 for the territory bonus.

I got 3 points for gaining 6 bonus troops in owned cards/territory bonus.

You get the 2 points by not allowing your opponent to earn any bonuses...that means no landmass bonus AND no owned card bonuses.

Hope that clears it up

Sorry guys...it's been a busy weekend, but I'll try to get an official update up Sunday night...Monday morning.

We do have our first final, as #3 Texas comes back in the second half to beat Georgia Tech 45-32 to advance to the Sugar Bowl quarterfinal game. The Longhorns wrapped up the win despite losing the fourth quarter map on Great Lakes. Texas managed enough losing player bonuses to prevent a Yellowjackets comeback.

#4 Alabama takes the 4th quarter against #13 Oklahoma State 10-3.

Alabama scores 7 points for winning head to head,
and 3 points for 12+ landmass bonus/owned cards bonus.

Oklahoma State scores 3 points for winning territory battle.

So the final score is Alabama 58, Oklahoma State 16.
Good games Evil Semp!

After trailing 20-3 at the half Utah has stormed back in the third quarter and continues the momentum in the fourth. Final should be soon. My opponent had the bad luck of turnovers--u know drop and dice.

Well it's on to the quarterfinals...congrats to those who won in the first round and thanks for playing to those who were blown out in their openers...such as I #-o

Hope you enjoyed the format, I did, and plan to make a similar tournament with minor tweaks in the future.

There are three games that are officially still going, but the result is undeniable, so it's onto the big bowls now for the quarterfinals...Orange, Rose, Sugar and Fiesta.

Only minor upsets in the first round by #9 Boise State (Go Broncos!!!) and #10 Ohio State, so hopefully the quarterfinals will feature some more exciting matchups. The first quarter batch is going out tonight.

Good luck...flex

I may not be able to play football anymore. My bones were crushed by bones--He probably leads by thirty after the first quarter. I am in a lot of pain. Utah will need to start coming back in the second quarter this time. Ouch--I can wait and the word is can wait for that first quarter score to be posted.

Nice job bones!!
