We all know how our last meeting turned out LMS ;)

ckyrias for me - we are tied up 3-3 in all Stalingrads, though he went first in 4 of them. My turn to go first

Someone should do a little study, see how often the first player in 1vs1 wins. 80-90% would be my guess (not including noobs of course). Dubs not quite as high, triples/quads things would even out with drop being more important than order.

For me this tournament, I won the 4 games I went first in, lost the single game I went second in. So, yeah, I want to go first please :D

Just checked my stats....

6 games total.
4 wins
2 losses

In the wins, I went first once and second 3 times.
In the losses, I went second both times.

So yeah, I'd like to get some first turns happening more often too.

I also wouldn't mind to see a study. I think that 80-90% is probably high. However, when the 2 players are evenly matched I think going first really makes a difference. I'll do a study of the games in this tournament and see. Of course, it you don't want to count noobs, I'll have to leave my games out of the study. ;)

After that comment ... I'd challenge Underated in this round, but alas, the tournament rules don't allow such hanky panky.

So, I'll challenge sandman175 in this round instead!

Nope, no going first for me

So here's map ranks for second round players:

ckyrias
Stalingrad Private 1st Class28 +72 28 from 51(55%) 45 Serial Killer (60%)34 Equalitarian (0.826)

GeneralRisk
Stalingrad1 Field Marshal +6683 1010 from 1579(64%) 644 Serial Killer (66%)618 Equalitarian (0.903)

giannikas
Stalingrad Private 1st Class60 +40 7 from 21(33%) 11 Murderer (44%)3 Brawler (1.201)

Keefie
Stalingrad Brigadier42 +2458 480 from 701(68%) 309 Serial Killer (69%)181 Equalitarian (0.862)

L M S
Stalingrad Corporal55 +145 65 from 113(58%) 109 Serial Killer (60%)73 Equalitarian (0.848)

razoget999
Stalingrad Cook8 -208 20 from 55(36%) 15 Murderer (36%)15 Equalitarian (1.083)

rjhankey
Stalingrad Private 1st Class52 +48 4 from 11(36%) 8 Serial Killer (53%)13 Equalitarian (0.987)

sandman175
Stalingrad Private 1st Class93 +7 7 from 19(37%) 19 Murderer (48%)1 Equalitarian (1.049)

tec805
Stalingrad Captain101 +899 79 from 117(68%) 120 Serial Killer (73%)9 Equalitarian (0.907)

ubcman64
Stalingrad Major310 +1190 221 from 306(72%) 190 Serial Killer (72%)32 Equalitarian (0.818)

Underated
Stalingrad Private58 -58 20 from 49(41%) 35 Murderer (47%)3 Equalitarian (0.991)

As everyone probably already knew GR and Keefie top the list for points and very respectful win %. For the most part I'd put my money on first player (with just decent dice dropping 8 troops can cause a world of hurt on this map).

LMS and I have about the same number of games, but I'm 10% up on wins and +750 points ahead. Guess that's what happens when you noob farm ;)

lol, noob farm.

Go ahead and search my completed games on Stalingrad and let me know what you find.
Very few low rankers in there comparatively.

tec805: 2809 * 0.907 = 2547.8
L M S: 3114 * .848 = 2640

So, using the Map Ranks that tec gave, he is more of a noob farmer on Stalingrad! ;)

He sure farmed me in round 1!!

I know your one of the best players on this map,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Me and you play all the time on this map, and Me personally, I like this opportunity to play players that I have seldom if ever played 1 on 1 on this map.....maybe if we are both lucky we well play each other in the final....gl friend

Invalid data! Rank changes quite a bit, I've dropped from 3200+ points a few weeks ago so I should be listed as much more of a farmer #-o
