Second Chances Tournament [Winner: uckuki]

To celebrate the New Year and my return to the forums (well, I think I'm the only one celebrating the latter), I'm restarting an old idea of mine called the "Second Chances Tournament". The idea is people who've almost made it but didn't quite get it, get a second chance.

Every game is a standard, sequential game on the classic map. There are escalating card bonuses (or spoils as I think they are called now), no fog of war, and the unlimited reinforcements setting.

The tournament begins with 30 players. The first round is 6 games with 5 players each. The 12 people who are in first and second place are guaranteed a spot in the next round, and the others go into an elimination game - that's right, you aren't eliminated yet!

The first elimination games will be 3 games with 6 players each. Game 1 & 2 losers will go into game 1, game 3 & 4 losers, will go to game 2, and 5 & 6 will go into game 3. Everyone in these games placing first or second moves on, while everyone placing third to sixth is eliminated for good.

Round 2 has 18 people - 6 players in 3 games. Again, the first and second place winners go on to Round 3, but this time it's changed up a bit. 3rd and 4th place go to an elimination game, but 5th and 6th place doesn't. For the elimination, there are 3 games with 2 players each. Winners go on to Round 3.

Round 3 contains 9 players in 3 games; 3 players each. This time only FIRST place makes it, SECOND place winners go into ONE elimination game, and third and fourth LOSE. Winner of the one elimination game with 3 players goes to Round 4.

Round 4 is the second-to-last round. All players are in one game. First makes it, 2nd and 3rd battle it out in elimination, and 4th goes home.

Final Round now - Round 5. The last two players have to win one final game against each other to be crowned the winner.

There are no reserved spots for premium, however, I would like 6 reserves. Next post will be list of players/statuses for when the tournament begins.
