I just answered the questions with the closest response to the way that I felt things should be run. I'm really just more in the direction of Hitler than any other mark they had on the diagram, but he's about twice as far into the fascist realm as I am.

Damnit, I was shooting for Stalin. I should've picked more of those "I'm a prick" choices to boost that Authoritarianism.

This again? I still like individual freedom and liberty and think markets need regulations (as opposed to intervention) in order to work well.

According to that site, I'm a combination of the more "extreme" aspects of Nelson Mandela, and Gandhi.

Intervention is what happened not too long ago and still is happening, the fed printing money and pumping it into the markets (and buying US bonds with the money it printed itself), the bailouts of a few big banks that are only growing bigger (while, strangely, smaller banks are left to fail), the US becoming the main shareholder in GM. That's intervention.
Regulation means setting rules or standards that make intervention unnecessary in the first place and enforcing them by fines or taxes if they are not adhered to. Lending standards for banks and ensuring that they operate transparently would be an example of regulation.

Your political compass

A lot of those questions were very poorly worded, almost "loaded." Also, a few misspellings.

I've taken this test several times, and I've been drifting towards the center. I used to be near the bottom left corner.

I'm the opposite - used to be center left, now I'm drifting towards bottom left corner.

I thought many questions required more nuanced answers than the ones available (surprise, surprise). I'm not surprised, though, with what quadrant I was put into.
Also, what was up with certain questions
? For example, the one asking for your opinion on non-representational art. Or the one about astrology.
