UPDATED: I decided with such a huge response to go for 32 players and added several other characters! if for some reason it doesn't fill up to 32, then I'll go with the first 16 players that signed up and anyone else left can go on reserves. But considering that i put this up less than 24 hours ago, I believe we can get 32

I will update the bracket image and the status layout after making sure we can reach 32 players





I'm dedicating this tournament to the wonderful show LOST as the show is coming to it's series finale after six seasons. For six years we have waited for answers.. and we still are! The tournament will be Double Elimination 1v1. Each player will pick a character to represent from the show from the list I provide. Jacob and the man in black will not be included on this list, consider them as sort of running this tournament. And perhaps the winner will be the one who replaces Jacob... or MIB.

Each match will be best out of 5 games. I've picked out 16 maps to represent certain areas of the island. I will use random.org to pick 5 maps for each particular match. In other words the matchup for GAME A between those 2 players will more than likely be playing on different maps than the 2 players in GAME B. All settings will be Auto, Sequential, Flat, Chained, and Foggy (foggy partially represents the mystery and unknown of these areas on the island). The first matches will be randomly assigned using the bracket image of Challonge as this site will shuffle the players in the beginning. Please view the image to see how the tournament will be played out and read further on for more info.

I need 16 players and up to 4 reserves (i know i can do more characters and will be happy to expand it to 32 players if there are enough players interested)

I will be participating as well and pick my character a little later giving other players the chance to pick their favorites first. Also note that you do NOT have to be a fan of the show to play this game.

When the tournament starts I will send out PM's. Please join within 24 hours of these PM's. If you fail to join, I will resend the PM a 2nd time which gives you another 24 to join. If you fail the 2nd time then you are out of the tournament and will be replaced. As I do plan to run more tournaments, you will also be placed on my NO GOOD LIST which means that you will not be able to join any more of my tournaments unless you PM me with a good explanation.[/spoiler]
