Here's the single. Yeah he does the album's going to be called Mojo. The other song I heard was called "first flash of freedom" and it was even better than this one. I heard it on the radio, but I can't find it online.

Petty ROCKS!

Puts on one of the best live shows I have ever been too. Saw him twice. 3rd row and 4th row center stage seats. Great concerts!

And yes his new releases are pretty awesome.

Sweet. I haven't bought an album of his since Wildflowers. I might need to pick this one up. Thanks for the heads up.

Duh! so completely true! I saw him at Bonnaroo 2006. The man knows how to please an audience.

Good ol' Petty came here two days ago at the Green Beans cafe to perform.

Sadly I missed it.

I'll never forgive myself.

Tom Petty is old school hardcore rock'n roll. He is not The Man however, although he does do a good job of emulating him now and then. I refer of course to Bob Dylan.

Bah I'm not much of a fan of Bob Dylan...His voice, for some reason, annoys me...Though he still has some good songs out there that I like.

Dylan is like Diamond, a great song writer, but not a very good performer.

Because it sounds like someone is singing with broken glass stuck in their throat?

Still, you have to respect Dylan, I like some songs of his though I can't get through an album of his with out falling asleep. Regardless of what I think of him you have to honor the fact that he inspired many great generations of songwriters after him. People like Tom Petty.
