Biggest summer of films ever?

Post by Spuzzell »

I'm a bit surprised at what's about to happen this summer in the cinema.. I cannot remember ever seeing so many heavy hitting films being released in one year before.

Which are you most likely to see? What's going to be the surprise film of the year? Which will pan completely? Should I include "gfy"?

EDIT:

In fact, there were too many films to include them all in the poll options.

Stardust and Evan Almighty couldn't be fitted in, neither could options "None of them, I'm waiting for the Ken Loach Marathon" (for Stopper) or "All of them! Huzzah"

Lots of good movies there. Planning on seeing more than one of those, but I voted for Pirates of the Caribbean. Gotta love the pirates

Will definitely see Transformers and Pirates provides the odd chuckle... but none of the others. Weak summer really unless your 12.

Seriously?

I'm actually quite excited :-) The Bourne films have been excellent so far, nostalgia dictates seeing Willis save the world from behind a zimmer-frame and I can't wait for Transformers!

I think Stardust sounds great too. I'll be dragged to Pirates, I'm sure.

Actually i might see silver surfer if I'm bored... He was always a good character as hero or villain, shame about the fantastic 4...

Pfft! What a pile of crap!

If it don't make your heart bleed and your brow furrow, it ain't worth watching.

I might see the Bourne film. Oh, and maybe the Simpsons. But nothing else.

Voted Harry Potter and the order of the pheonix.

If I can, I'll go watch it twice. 3 times if some friends want to. Way too addicted to those movies..

Otherwise, Spider-man 3 seems like a good movie, but since it is out already...I will probbaly loan it.

Pirates 3, a sure go for me.

Rise of the silver surfers sounds good too.

But...My vote had to go for Harry.

I voted for the simpsons, but only because this:-
"None of them, I'm waiting for the Ken Loach Marathon"
wasn't an option!

SILVER SURFER!

The first time a film has been made of the chrome-plated herald of Galactus, and this movie also has to have Galactus in it.

I'm seeing that.

Jackie Chan and Smokey for me (even though the second one was a bit pish. Err pisher than the the first pish one)

Don't think I'll bother with any of the rest.
For Transformers, I just watch the citron car adverts.
For Simpsons, I'm bored of the endless reruns on TV - if I see "Treehouse of horrors one more time...
For Bourne, I just watch Bond :)
Zero interest in the rest.

Well except Die Hard. Might go and see that.
