podge is in fine position. Protecting pink and yellow at once is a great deal. And podge also has a shot at taking pink out, who has the least men and the most cards after this turn.
Yes pink is all over the map, but the only thing seperating his countries are red's single men. And no one else has a shot at pink so its a very strong position.
However, like all escalating games, it will come down to luck of the cards. If you get a set with 3 and pink doesn't have a set with 4 you could be in great shape. But if if you are holding enough cards for kid to get a mid turn cash you coudl easily be taken out as well.
