Post by wicked »

So who's going out at midnight to see the movie tonight? I just heard all the theatres were having midnight showings since it opens "tomorrow" here in the States.

nope...as much as my friends begged me too...i drew the line at midnight...instead, i'm going to a special viewing tomorrow at 7:30 thats a closed viewing so you get really good seats and stuff...it was a birthday present for a friend of mine, cause she's never been to one before...the tickets cost a stupid and pointless amount of money though...

I did the midnight showing for Star Wars and 2 of the LOTR movies.

I think I'm gonna skip on Harry.

Meh. Apparently I have to wait for my friend to come back from columbia to see it. Whatev tho. I had planned to wait at least a week either way so as to not be exposed to the fanboys.

Lol when the new book comes out I want to be first on line to get one. Then shout out the last paragraph to everyone still standing on line.

That would be highly amusing!
Just like what Homer Simpson did after seeing Star Wars V and saying "Wow, I can't believe that Darth Vader is Luke's father", much to the annoyance of the people next in line.

You don't have to shout out the real one though. make it more amusing like by flicking to the back and the shouting "OH MY GOD HARRY HAS AIDS!"

I am indeed going to the midnight showing... though honestly I hate these movies (only saw the first two) and think the books are ridiculously overrated. But it should be fun, as all my friends are going. Good excuse to break curfew and all that ;)

Matter of fact, I'm leaving to wait in line and pig out on In-n-Out burger in about 20 minutes...

Even if it were showing here at midnight, just no. Generally I don't see movies at that time whatever they are, but Harry Potter.. no way. Not sure how much I even want to see it considering how bad the last one was.

No offense, but it's so juvenile to go to a movie just to make out. Why pay money to do it, when you can find an equally more public place that's free? For example, I was at my partner's work, on the 11th floor one day, and some guy on the other side of the floor shouted out to everyone that there were two people having sex in the park down below...what they thought was a private place from ground level was a prime spot for viewing by all of the surrounding buildings. It was in the middle of the city, no less

Anyway, as for HP, I wanted to go during the day to avoid all the punk skinners, but I'll have to settle for tonight. Looking forward to it.

Five more hours and I'll be sitting in the movie :D:D:D I'm excited to see how much, if any, they've butchered the book.

exactly...the one thing i'm really hoping for is that they change the patronus...it was such an important part of the book...and in the movie, it didn't take a shape or anything...so disappointing...

well yeah...thats true...but i meant a major thing for the fifth movie...cause of the DA and all...with each person having an individual shape, its really important as a way to identify themselves...
