GAME ON!

RULES and REGULATIONS

1.This is a THEMED competition! Each entry must use the preceding image, or its likeness, spirit, essence, whatever. It's gotta have the CC star going on. The following image was graciously provided by WidowMakers.


2. The returns have to incorporate the previous return or serve. This means you have to play off the image before you. You don't have to use the image exactly but there should be at least a passing reference to it.Repeat: You do not have to use the same image as long as you play off it in some way.

3. You can use whatever graphics program you like, however a competitor is allowed to request a PSD or individual layer from the previous return. If you are working in GIMP just provide that layer as a separate images. Don't be annoying and ask for too many layers to be a douchebag and not give them up. If you have crazy skills you probably won't need to ask for any layers.

4. Deciding the winner will be done by the voting public after Round 4. Voters will be asked to decide base on 1, The quality of the images, 2, how well they played off the return, 3, overall awesomeness.

5. This aint no sig battle... all images will be 600x400 see below.


6. Contestants have one day to get their image in after a competitors image has been officially posted. This is flexible, we all have jobs and spouses and kids and pets and school and such.

7. I will be moderating this shindig and will also be competing. Any clarification of the rules will go through me, though its all pretty simple.

8. Anyone can sign up, but I warn you before hand, please don't be a hack. If a lot of people decide to play, then I will run two or three games and the winners will face off.

basically, player 1 makes an image and posts it.
then player 2 takes that image, edits it, and re-posts it.
then player 1 takes the edited image and adds to that.
and it goes back and forth until there is either a clear winner or the set amount of rounds has gone by.

I dont think this thread should be moved...YET. Its not your regular competition that you go look for in callouts. I mean if it was in callouts i would have never seen it. I dont usually go looking for this kind of thing.
Maybe after it starts up it could be moved. Give the hard core GDers a chance to see it.

well with 5 players, you will only need to up an image every 5 days.

thats 6. do you (mibi) want to make it two seperate 3 person games, and then the winners of that face off in a 1v1 game?
Or just do it with all 6 of us in the same game. That would be putting a lot onto the people that are voting. cause it would be 6 x number of rounds, so thats a lot of pictures to judge.
