Position of Elimination Tourney (need a few reserves)

Now most tournaments are you lose you're out or the first one eliminated is out. Well this tourney it will not always be the first person eliminated that gets knocked out of the tourney. It could be anywhere from the 1st to the last person eliminated that gets knocked out of the tourney. The winner will never get knocked out, but the only game you need to win to win this tourney is the last one. Each round I will let you know what the position of elimination will be, and that person will be knocked of the tourney from each game being played.

All games will be escalating, sequential, unlimited, and they will be foggy, that way it makes it a little more difficult to know if a person is on the verge of getting eliminated. Also after each round the people from each game that got eliminated at the same time will be playing each other in the next round, ie the second person eliminated from all the games would be playing each other in the next set of games. I hope this all making sense.

There will be eleven rounds and I will need 64 players to start and we will bring it down to eight for the final game. The maps will be somewhat randomly picked, I will be using a special formula to pick the maps for each round.

What do you mean by 'position of elimination'? How many players per game? How do you get from one round to the next? How do you get to the last 8-player game?

To answer your questions:
1. Position of Elimination, means that at the beginning of each round I will decide what position that is eliminated. ie, if I say the second person knocked out of the game is out of the tourney, then you better not be the second person out of the game.
2. The very first game played for everyone will be an 8 player game, after that it will decrease 1 person per round until we can get all of the games to be 8 player games again. We will then repeat until we get to the final eight player game.
3. To get to the next round all you have to do is not be knocked out of the game in the position that I stated at the beginning of the round. Everyone else goes on but that person. ie, if I say that the second person knocked out of the game is knocked out of the tourney, then the winner, 2nd place, 3rd place, 4th place, 5th place, 6th place and 8th place will move on to the next round and the 7th place person would be knocked out, in an 8 player game.
4. To make it to the last 8 player game, just don't get knocked out.
