If you want to go premium and don't want to re-take your membership, simply manage a little more. I was in a game that took me forever to play and thank God the 2 deadbeated because some people will wait 23 hours to move. Your 2 player or even 3 player games will go fast, you might get away with an average speed 4 player game, but you'll find yourself storing up scheduled matches having to prioritize.
I am in a tourney where I have to be careful not to let my account fill with long games so that when needed, I can have a spot available.

Since we're just "discussing" whether 4 games is enough for a freemium player I'm moving this to General Discussion. If anyone wants to "suggest" a higher number of games for freemium players please post in the existing Free Memberships Gameplay thread rather than starting a new one.

It really doesn't take very many to get $25. One of the kids at my school collected enough cans and bottles to buy her PROM DRESS.

For most of Conquer Club's history (save the early days before Premium Membership when there were different limits), 4 has been the standard---and probably will continue to be, for Freemium Membership.
It makes sense, if you understand the reasoning behind why Lack chose 4 Games. It may seem arbitrary---but consider that the first Promotion comes after 5 Games---this means that all the New Recruits that wander onto CC for a day, start 4 games, forget about Conquer Club or move on because they dislike the website for whatever reason---never reach their First Promotion. Those New Recruits that play and continue to play then move onto their First Promotion.
So in an essence, the 4 game limit is like a floodgate.

Youre new at the helm, so I wont point out that if the number of games was increased to 5 that the first promotion could happen at 6. But I agree with the 4 limit. An unlimited number of games is more than fair for free, even if it is only 4 at a time.

lack already gives away more than any other gaming site i have ever been on. he is far more generous than he needs to be, and when i was a freemium i was amazed at all the things i could access on the site without a premium membership. to top it off, the OP is a premium going down to freemium. he is simply looking to make things easier for himself, instead of collecting all those cans in the busted up shopping cart...-0
